49er is facing a drunk driving charge. according to the santa rosa press democrat, the officers arrested al netter on wednesday, the third 49er to be arrested on a dui charge since 2012. and he said in a statement, quote, the organization takes the issues organization isly and it's an ongoing legal matter. >>> democrats have large majorities in california legislatures and they're charting an ambitious agenda for the year ahead and lawmakers introduced hundreds of bills before the deadline, including proposals to change gun and ammunition laws, property, corporate tax collections, voting rights and environmental regulations are all up for review. the lawmakers put forward a total of more than 2,000 bills. meanwhile, the california democrats no longer hold a supermajority in the state senate. >> and that is a big change in san francisco because of a surprise resignation the past week and cbs reporter rob mcallster tells us the neverring is underway to fill the soon to be vacant seat. >> reporter: no one was expecting marco rubio to drop his resignation and to beginning -- begin wo

50s outside. oakland 53. livermore 50. santa rosa warm at 56. concord 53. san jose 51. hello, sunshine. 39 days into the year, get this, 36 of those 39 days have been partly or mostly sunny. that is crazy for wintertime. guess what. the next seven are all going to be sunny. that means clear nights and still early february it's going to be cold tonight near freezing for concord, livermore, fremont, oakland 39. santa rosa you'll likely dip below freezing in napa and fairfield hitting freezing. the radar is clear. the low pressure system gave us showers last night and early this morning. that's now gone. let's follow the moisture. this low pressure area moved north to south now seeing some showers in deep southern california, los angeles, san diego getting showers even las vegas may get a few sprinkles from this but now it's all about dry air moving in on the eastern plains of a high pressure dome that simply will not move for the next 10 days. so it's off to the west by rule of nature, winds going clockwise around high pressure so it's going
to the north in santa rosa. today's highs, again, warmer than yesterday, 50's and 60's. but the temperatures are still below average for this area. it's near freezing in livermore. you'll find that frost on the lawn in pleasanton, also back in through blackhawk, all the way in towards concord. 36 in san jose. overnight, 30's will be common around the peninsula. look at the traffic heading into the city of san francisco from oakland, on the bay bridge. we we have clear skies. overnight, the patchy frost develops. tomorrow, waking up with the frost. during the daytime hours, a more seasonal day as far as our highs are concerned. this is the area of low pressure that brought us snow yesterday. it's out of here. high pressure quickly filling in. it's sitting pretty for the next seven full days. i'm not looking at any kind of precipitation until about february 21 to the 22nd. otherwise, here's a comparison. where we stand as far as precipitation, there you have last year's anemic numbers. so we're not doing too bad at all, esp
